If you've ever looked up what perfume a K-pop idol wears, you've probably noticed how difficult it can be to find a reliable answer. One website says it's a particular fragrance, another repeats the same information, and before long, everyone seems convinced it's the celebrity's signature scent. Whether they've actually mentioned wearing it is another question.

So I was pleasantly surprised to come across an April 2025 W Korea video in which aespa's Winter talked about a perfume she genuinely likes: Kilian Flower of Immortality.

What made her recommendation interesting was that she doesn't usually wear much perfume in the first place.

W Korea — featuring Winter

The Peach Perfume That Won Winter Over

In the W Korea video, Winter explained that she generally prefers body lotion to perfume. Strong scents aren't really her thing, and she tends to gravitate toward fragrances that feel lighter and more natural.

But she'd recently discovered Kilian Flower of Immortality, and its peach scent caught her attention.

What she liked was that the peach smelled more like actual fruit than something artificially sweet. If you've tried peach-scented products before, you'll know how easily they can veer into candy territory. Flower of Immortality takes a different approach, combining peach with delicate floral notes for a softer fragrance.

The perfume is part of Kilian Paris's collection, a luxury fragrance house also known for richer scents like Angels' Share and Love, Don't Be Shy. Flower of Immortality is quite different from those sweeter, more intense fragrances.

It has a fresh, fruity opening, with peach as the main attraction, followed by a gentle floral character. Rather than developing into something heavy or syrupy, it stays relatively light. For someone who doesn't enjoy strong perfume, I can see why that would be appealing.

What Does Kilian Flower of Immortality Smell Like?

Flower of Immortality is generally described as a fruity floral fragrance, with white peach at its center. The composition also includes floral notes that soften the fruitiness, giving it a cleaner, more delicate character than many sweet peach perfumes.

It's worth mentioning that this isn't necessarily a barely noticeable fragrance. Even perfumes described as light can smell quite strong depending on how much you apply, and everyone's sensitivity to scent is different.

If you're curious about trying it because of Winter, I'd recommend sampling it first rather than buying a full bottle based on the description alone. Kilian fragrances are expensive, and peach notes can smell surprisingly different on skin than they do on paper.

I also wouldn't assume that Flower of Immortality is the only perfume Winter wears. In a later interview with The FADER, she mentioned a citrus fragrance from Kilian Paris in a blue bottle, although the publication didn't identify the exact product. It may or may not have been the same one.

What we do know is that Winter personally shared Flower of Immortality in her W Korea video, and her explanation was refreshingly simple: she liked that it smelled like real peaches without being overwhelming.

Now I'm curious to smell it myself.
